Providing effective therapy to adults and couples for over twenty years, I have a background in business before completing my post grad studies. I provided college counseling in the Affirmative Action Program at UCLA as well as corporate Employee Relations/Career counseling in two Fortune 500 companies.
My BA is in English Literature, my MA is in Counseling Psychology and I received my LMFT license in 2003, during which I also studied privately with several internationally regarded theorists living here in Los Angeles.
I have added the highly researched Gottman Method to my repertoire of understanding and interventions which is extremely helpful to both couples and individuals. Best of all, these methods are scientifically validated. No matter the approach, empathy and your sense of safety and privacy are paramount to me as you begin to heal and grow.
Familiar with and working in treatment of addiction, alcoholism and alcoholic family systems for over three decades, I also know how to both treat or integrate therapy with treatment for those illnesses.
I feel fortunate to be a therapist and feel it’s a calling.
